The Lesser-Known Shelby-Americans
Along with its work with Ford, Shelby-American has produced its own brand of muscle car. Working with either a base vehicle as in the case of the Dodge Omni and Charger, or creating their own masterpieces as in the Cobra, Carroll Shelby has made his own marque and written an exciting chapter in American automotive history.
Shelby has also produced the Shelby Series 1, which while a powerful car, never reached the sales level necessary to be as popular as the Mustangs that made up the bulk of the Shelby legend.
